Nursery:
This ministry helps to foster the care of Jesus to little children. Therefore, it is more than babysitting. Starting at the earliest age, one must experience the touch and love of the Lord.

This ministry provides the opportunity for children to learn from their level; that they may be equipped to respect and live a life that represents a Kingdom Citizen; and be an open testimony of the life of Christ in their environment in which they effect: home; schools; playground and the uttermost part of the world.

Teenage and Youth Ministry:
This ministry focuses on the teaching, training, directing of the most vital arm of the local church. At conversion, the ministry functions to connect new believers with other young Christians through outreach, projects and other evangelistic events.

Men of Vision:
A group of men who will commit to be accountable to each other; endeavor to assist one another to fulfill their God-given destiny; foster standards with sound morals and judgment and Godly character; encourage education, skills development and not tolerate mediocrity or unfinished business; and to mentor young men by setting an example to help them broaden their Christian belief and enrich their lives.

The purpose of this ministry is to teach and win single adults to know Jesus by ministering to their social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs, so they may be able to know Christ in a personal way. It will encourage them to develop Godly relationships and how it all works in HIS great plan. It answers the question, “What to do with my time, body, and money?” as it relates to the Kingdom.

Education and Evangelism

New To The Family Ministry:
This ministry helps to strengthen the New Convert, and New Member to fully recognize their right standing as a Child of God, and reinforce the Biblical Principles of Baptism; Holy Communion; and the essentials of who they are in Christ.

Sunday School:
Education is vital for the saint to grow with balance and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior. The curriculum based literature provides the teacher and student to comprehensively receive instructions in righteousness, and be molded by the dynamic personalities found in the Bible and understand better how God deals with mankind. Each group will learn according to their specific age, gender, rank and station.

Discipleship Training School:
The mission of this ministry is to obey the Great Commandment of our Lord by “making disciples, of every believer”. Men and women who have accepted Christ as Savior and Lord, must be trained and equipped on the Biblical Principles, which is done through a comprehensive training method of didactic teaching, practical application, and it is evangelistic in its intent.

This ministry is a cooperation of “called” congregants, and the congregation as a whole to engage in formal and informal, methods of evangelism to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all. We literally, “take it to the streets". Scripture declares, “And how shall they believe in HIM, of whom they have not heard?"

Outreach

Great Commission Ministry:
This ministry makes it possible to network with social services in the community to enhance the meeting of physical and emotional needs. At the same time, the ministry provides outreach for the saving of souls, locally, nationwide and internationally. Additionally, it acts as a support group that ministers to the ALCC family during hospital stay, bereavements for spiritual encouragement to acknowledge the Lord as comforter and healer.

Jail And Prison:
This ministry is designed to let those who are separated from society, that they are not separated from God’s love. That there is hope received through the Love of Jesus Christ that they may know that being jailed, you can still be free. And at the same time, to be prepared to minister grace as they transition back into mainstream of the populace.

Helps

Deacons/Helps Ministry:
The purpose of this ministry is to emulate the essence and attitude of a true believer. That is to be a servant. By serving the local church, it develops the hearts and minds to meet the on-going needs of the congregation, as well as to recruit, train and foster new servants and leaders as the Lord adds to HIS church.

Finance Ministry:
The Finance Ministry manages all fiduciary responsibilities that are offered unto the Lord, in tithes, offerings, and sacrificial gifts, for proper recording and exercise the utmost of Biblical stewardship, integrity, and distribution for the work of the Kingdom.

Pastoral Care:
The main focus of this ministry, are for committed members to under gird Pastor and his family in prayer. This helps all to understand the importance of the gift God gave to us, and the body of Christ. We are to help lighten the load so he can focus and be clear to bring the vision and his assignment to pass. We attend to the temporal needs of the first family through areas of hosting and valet, office, home care, pulpit, auto care, preparation and serving of refreshments before and after service when necessary. For each of the areas we have a servant team leader who gives leadership to individuals gifted in these specific areas of service.

Music Ministry:
The Music ministry has the tremendous responsibility to prepare the atmosphere for the worship and praise to our God. It is incumbent for musicians and singers to be consecrated, trained, gifted, and to be worshippers. The Music Ministry is comprised of Praise Teams, Choir (singers) and a band. It is paramount that each opportunity, God does not miss HIS worship, or Praise. For HE alone is worthy.

Dance Ministry:
Sacred dance is ordered, needed and taught, that the people of God will experience and have opportunity to honor their bodies as a holy vessel unto a Holy God. This is done in the form of praise, worship, and adoration unto HIM in dance. All can experience the pure message of hope, joy, despair, patience and waiting on God for deliverance, which assists the saint to war, fight and claim victory.

This ministry is designed to provoke the Body of Christ and the community to experience, visually and verbally, the message of the Savior, through the various forms of theatre: operetta’s operas, drama; monologues, musicals and acting.

Multimedia Ministry:
This ministry is responsible for giving the utmost example of the spirit of the church done through audio, video, printed materials, broadcasts and all areas where sound and projection of music and distribution of material is publicize. They are responsible for the monitoring and upkeep of all audio equipment to assure high quality and excellence at all services. This includes the updating of the ALCC website.

Sanctuary Servants (Ushers):
This ministry provides for the comfort and guidance for the congregation that enhances the receiving of God’s wonderful Word. Devoted men, women and youth are needed who has the love to serve and respond to requests as unto the Lord. Those in this ministry are the first to be seen, “let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify the Father”. Then serving the Lord with gladness will not be difficult.

This ministry is responsible for the preparation and serving of food at all church functions, as scheduled. This is a group of committed saints who enjoy and love to prepare and serve with excellence as well as organizing and planning menus for events. This group is also committed to train and teach the essence of hospitality and service.
